Each year, The Great Dock Canoe Race selects a Theme for the Race. The "Best Dressed Theme Canoe Competition" is judged upon (amongst other things) most creative interpretation of the Theme. The prize for the "Best Dressed Canoe" (best interpretation of the theme) is $1,000. The 36th annual Great Dock Canoe Race is scheduled for Saturday, May 12, 2012. The theme for the 2012 Race is "Animal House" and, appropriately, our beneficiary is the Naples Zoo.
